I’ve been to ISTE.  I went to the one in San Diego in 2012. I loved everything about it.  I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of attendees, but equally inspired to see how many educators were passionate about all things technology.  =)

This is the second year in a row that I’ve missed ISTE.  Make no mistake, I’m bummed.  But family comes first so here I am at home taking care of my family.  No bummer in that.

I was thinking that I was just going to follow all of the #iste2014 hashtags on Twitter and try not to be too jealous, but this morning I was delighted to see that there was an alternative for those of us not in Atlanta…#notatiste14.  Could it be?  A support group for people not attending ISTE?

I like that I’ll be able to connect with educators who like me are not at ISTE but are nonetheless just as passionate about technology and all of the things that it can do in education.  I think I’m going to be okay after all.  =)

It’s been a great year with QR codes. Good stuff. =)…
